not to mention it told me a few things about myself, too

for those regular readers of this blog who know how i live to unlock people, lemme just say that this little video gave me the master key to about 75% of the guys i've slept with over the last 15 years.

as i've said here before, unlike most guys, i really don't have much use for porn--to me, most of it looks a lot more like work than any kinda sex i'd wanna have--but i think what's presented here holds true for most any activity in which people tend to overindulge.

or put another way, it just reinforces my long-held belief that the human brain handles scarcity so much better than it does abundance--it really, really, does.

give it a watch--i think you'll find it enlightening.

Fascinating Ted talk, it parallels with an older post from
The Last Psychiatrist
. Perhaps it's morbid curiosity on my part, but what on earth are you discovering with the 75% of guys you've picked up? My hunch would be that these boys would be bottoms by default, simply because they have a hard time getting hard. I've no idea how correct my guess is, since I've been out of the game a while now, but it seemed like it was trending that way when I was in it. What else are you discovering?

So, 75% of the guys you slept with? Do you mean that as a description of you -- or the guys you have slept with?

I really liked this video -- far more than the 3 hours of CSPAN you foisted upon us guttermorality readers.

I knew a hustler that kept bemoaning that he did not have regulars, only guys seeking "strange" -- so that he had to find a constant pool of new customers.

So I get the idea that you are trying to explain -- something new is an immediate turn on for 2 minutes.

But, then again, it is very different from courtship and love and romance.

Good luck out there.

hubbard: your hunch would be correct. of course, they would give different reasons for their preference--and often did--than the one you mentioned, but that's often what it came down to, i think. not that being the passive vessel precludes the sort of sexual energy inherent in the active role, but it's certainly not a requirement.

noblesavage: i was talking about them. and i was talking about me.

Enlightening???

Are you serial???

I find myself in the dark.

The problem is addressed, but not there is not much in the solution department.

Guys watch porn to beat off-plain and simple, yet the word "masturbation" comes up all of one time in this clip as comic relief. It doesn't get past guys watching porn and getting aroused. Then what happens? You stroke your meat and you cum and you feel better after a hard day of work.

Is this guy REALLY suggesting that guys should quit masturbating? If so, he should've said so point-blank and I would have shut this thing off 2 minutes into his lecture.

Porn can become a problem no differently than gambling, shopping and so on. What is the solution to the porn problem? Not beating off doesn't strike me as a constructive answer, cuz let's face it, guys who don't beat off to porn, are beating off to thoughts of porn.

Maybe that's the solution...use your "IMAGINATION" and chicks will dig ya in not time.

And speaking of porn. Ever hook up with a guy looking for pnp and porn? There's a blog for ya.
