trust me, you'll score a lot better if you don't waste half your alloted time tryin to spell shit like "kyrzykstan"

.
someone who knows well my (a) current state of ennui and (b) fondness for ego-boosting time-wasters sent me this link; i have no doubt that at least one of my readers will be able to break 100 (like i damn sure shoulda).

oh, and the time starts counting down the instant the link opens, so don't dawdle.

I tried it and the first time go nothing because I typed them all in separated by a comma and there you have it...then I restarted and got something like 68 and that seemed about right.

So you must have been typing way too fast for me...I mean, just to physically type in that many things in time is pretty quick...

Which brings me to a point that I often raise with younger people these days: When I was a freshman in high school, I took a full year of typing. Back then, we rotated between manual (manual!) typewriters and electric ones just to get a feel for them all.

Typing is the only class from high school I really appreciate so much now -- 20+ years out of it -- and that I use on a daily basis. It has allowed me to lead a much more productive work life than otherwise.

Anyway, you did good kid. Really good. As usual, you are three standard deviations above the mean.

noblesavage: yeah, i took typing back in high school too--my mother talked me into it with the argument that i'd always have something to fall back on (if she'd only known).

and it's gratifying to know i can still keep up with you in at least one aspect of mind and memory.
