"Moxie"-- I haven't heard that since a production manager at a audio-visual art department in the 80s would look at an artist and say, "Ya gotta lotta MOXIE, ya know that doncha?" It gives this post a nice period feel.
judi: from what i understand, the east side is where it's at these days--restaurants, hipsters and all that shit. but it's gotten expensive, too, right?
will: yeah, i dunno why the resolution on that screenshot was so bad, but that's the best i could do. and i dunno where "moxie" came from, but i dug it up from somewhere ;)
Yes to all of the above, but I'd gladly give up the luxury of the 'burbs for even an affordable garage apt. In pretty sure that's not gonna happen, but a girl can dream can't she?
The restaurants are fantastic; I'm partial to east 11th. There's nothing quite like 'day after the night before' mimosa brunch at Hillside Farmacy.
