.
so tonight i came across an anti-israel rant on a blog i follow to which i took exception, and since (a) posting around here has been light lately, and (b) my response to same was my first decent drunken comment in months, i'm re-posting it here before i stagger off to bed:it always amazes me when, given the choice between supporting the israelis or the palestinians, the faggots almost always go with the side that would superglue their assholes shut right before beheading 'em.
me? i go with the side that doesn't inculcate its children from birth with the belief that the other side are subhuman pigs who deserve to be slaughtered in the streets, and that sacrificing themselves in the accomplishment of this goal is their god-given mission in life.
these people coulda had their own state 10 years ago--the israelis bent over backwards agreeing to every concession arafat asked for while clinton and madeline albright simultaneously kissed his ass, and it still wasn't enough. why? because that might've brought peace, and that's the last thing the palestinians really want--whiny, bomb-lobbing victimhood's much more fun.
don't worry, tho--the palestinians have demographics on their side, and through sheer numbers they'll overrun the israelis soon enough--i give it 20-30 years. and then the one oasis of stable, western-friendly civilization in the middle east will descend into the chaos characteristic of the rest of the region, and every faggot in america but me will raise a glass in celebration.
[and if none of the above moves you even a little, i recommend you get naked with at least one israeli soldier before you condemn the whole country to hell--trust me, it'll change even your brother's mind.]
and in case you're wondering, his name was shaly, it happened about 10 years ago over the course of a weekend at the century plaza hotel, and its effect on israeli/mkf relations was incalculable.

I believe guttermorality would look much more kindly upon the Palestinian question if only you had gotten laid with a Palestinian. Personal diplomacy always seems to work best.
As for the substance of your comments, well, Israel is in a difficult situation given the intransigence of Arafat over the years and now with Hamas.
So, what, then is the solution? Americans really do not want to hear that there is no solution -- That there will be conflict as far into the future as the eye can see.
But that appears to be the hard realistic assessment of guttermorality. Not that I disagree with you. I am not sure peace of any sort is really possible right now.
But this is not solely the Palestinian's doing. The hard line Likud government of Netanyahu has, I believe, only made matters worse. Keep in mind, Ariel Sharon left Likud for a reason.
The Likud Israel government has become dependent upon the most conservative elements of Israel for its support (including the hard right parties like Shahs). This is all breathtakingly bad for any hope of compromise and peace.
Well, it's still better than Hamas.
noblesavage: you're right--israel's heavy-handedness over the last 30 years has only served to further unite the otherwise fractious palestinians in their hatred of their perceived oppressors; i woulda handled the situation completely differently. maybe i'll talk about that sometime.
Israel is the most dangerous terrorist state there is . The problem of Zionism is palpable in the TORTURE of the Palestinian prisoners (500 a year at least) , the racial genocide of the Palestinians , and this 'western friendly' BS ? Zionists have an "atavistic hatred" of the West and Christianity .

I can't really wrap my mind around an appropriate response in spite of knowing I can speak freely here.
I'm sure you all know where I stand on this position.
