and what does your generation have to offer that's any better, you smarmy, post-ironic twentysomething loser?

.

not that i'm really that worked up about this, but i figure it's never too early to start rehearsing my indignation for the day when the above snot-nosed punk and thirty million of his closest friends try to take away my medicare ten years from now.

As a baby boomer, I thought you could muster at least some indignation when you and your entire generation are called self-indulgent narcissists.

As for taking away your Medicare, it's inevitable given the level of taxation that currently exists. Remember that the next time you vote for a Republican who signed Grover Norquist's tax pledge.

Perhaps the Koch brothers will use all the money they saved from paying taxes on contributions for services previously provided by the government including for the poor and elderly.

noblesavage: why? we are self-indulgent narcissists, as any generation fortunate enough to be born at a civilization's peak naturally would be.

as for your second point, medicare will be broke in 10 years no matter what we do, but if you're still so damned intent on handing over 90% of your income to the treasury--trust me, honey, they'll take a check.
