an interesting chart

.
because you know i'm all about the charts.

the money quote:

Barring an about face by nature or adjustments, it appears that for the first time since 2001, Arctic Sea ice will hit the “normal” line as defined by the National Snow and Ice Data Center (NSIDC) for this time of year.

i fully expect al gore to call a news conference at any moment expressing his jubilant relief, don't you?

So, as a global warming skeptic, what makes you think that you are smarter than all of those environment scientists and climatologists?

Do you really think that they are just all making it up?

So, for the thousands of scientists who say that we are in imminent peril, do you think they are: 1) deluded; 2) in some gigantic conspiracy; or 3) idiots who do not know what they are talking about?

Also, when half the state of Florida and large parts of Bangladesh and other countries are under water, what are you going to say: Oops, I made a mistake?

I mean, don't you think that we should err on the side of safety?

noblesavage: fuck the idiocy of your argument--what i really want you to do is define "we."

seriously--if you think you can talk china, india, brazil and [insert name of emerging third-world economy here] into joining the economic suicide pact you democrats propose for america, then get back to me and we'll discuss it.

otherwise, you're just nobly killing the west while the rest of the world laughs. do you seriously not understand that?

So when Florida is under water, you are going to say that at least we were able to burn carbon emissions at the same rate as China?

You are nuts. We are sane.

noblesavage: oh, for god's sweet sake--it's clear you've left with no choice but to write a post putting all this hysterical nonsense in its proper perspective.
